The autumn's cool north winds have cleared the air and given us some of the best views I remember. High above Malibu and the Bay of LA, the mountain on the left is San Jacinto, towering 10,804 feet above Palm Springs, over 150 miles to the east, and 80 miles away on the right is Mount Santa Ana.
