Help needed finding paint code for Z8 Wheel

Can anyone give me the paint code for the Z8 OE wheel? I had my wheels repainted and the match did not replicate the original color as I would like.

    Thanks in Advance.

    z8 rims paint code

I am a fairly new Z8 owner and have been working hard to educate myself. The rims on my car have some small blemishes that was I was hoping to touch up. Trying to find the correct paint codes was challenging to say the least. I am sure there are quite a few of you who might have the same issue. I have attached, what I think, is the most accurate information. This was provided to me from the Z8 club , in Germany. The paint code, on the lower right had corner is missing the last number. The paint code should be 51 91 2 160 221. I believe the proper paint is felgensilber met (144).

Could it be this? Your photo says (144)

I was hoping some of the more senior members would chime in? If I had to guess I would say yes. I have ordered a one oz. vial, from this precise company, and am going to give it a try in some of the less conspicuous places and see how it works. Anybody have more definitive experiences touching up their wheels?

Mark - I thought I was somewhat a senior member here (even if not as much of a technical expert as many others) after having been an owner and active member here since 2005 and having about 85K miles of personally driven miles in my Z8 which now has over 111K miles. Well, maybe one day! Hopefully you will be able to find the perfect touch up you are looking for and can share with us later.

My humble apologies , there probably are not many who are more senior members than you. Have you tried touching up your wheels? Has anyone had any experience? Before I go and do a half assed job I was hoping some one would chime in to share their experience, like those who refinished their door sills, touched up the scratches on their black acrylic, or tried to refinish their headlights.
I will say I did refinish my emergency brake handle. It was all scratched. The handle is just painted. I sanded all the old paint off down to the black plastic. There was no clear coat or protective covering. BMW could have done a better job to protect the paint. I did apply two coats of clear matte finish over the top. I compared it to a new one and the difference was almost imperceivable.
Has anyone had any experience touching up their rims?

I know I'm looking for hens teeth but .......would you know of anyone who is interested in selling a black battery charger case?
