Tail Lights available

I should have a few sets of US spec tail lights available for sale soon.
These are not rebuilt.
They are working units removed from US spec Z8's that are now part of a collection in Europe.
All of the cars in the collection have been converted to Euro spec lighting.
What is the going rate for these?

New ones are available for as little as $2800 per light from vendors like BMWpartshub.com so a used one would be south of that. Condition and history (age) will determine how much of a discount. If they are original and 20 years old I would think the discount would be substantial.

You would be correct GaZ8fan.
I have a friend in Netherlands who has a huge Z8 collection, but any cars bought stateside have been converted.
He's asked me if I would like to sell the US lights for him and was curious as neither of us know the current market.
He said all would be tested first to make sure the neon is still working properly, and I would test them again once I have them in hand before sending them out to anyone.
It's impossible to say how long they would last compared to new.
I've taken care of quite a few Z8's over the years and personally have never had one with a tail light failure, but others have had issues.
I'll know more soon and this is probably the best place to sell them, or Ebay I guess.

I wish you had posted about 4 months ago. My left taillight failed and I bought a new one. Good luck with the sale - demand (due to how old our cars are getting) and prices for these rare parts are only headed up.
