    Preaching to the Choir

I know that everyone probably agrees with me when I say this, but the Z8 has to represent the absolute best value in the ~$200k price range in the collector car market these days. With the run up in values of what I would consider lesser cars, I’m surprised that you can still find a Z8 for sub $200k. My narrow body 993 is worth $100k for crying out loud! Don’t even get me started on Land Cruiser’s…

Agreed. They are great offroad vehicles. I owned and offroad wheeled one for most of the 1990's. Values are crazy now.

Coyote-Powered 1970 Ford Bronco for sale on BaT Auctions - sold for $211,000 on November 18, 2021 (Lot #59,905) | Bring a Trailer

The ICON Broncos are closer to $300,000

Me too! The prices have been shooting up. Is the 80 series your daily or is it reserved for adventures on the trails?

The prices for these restomodded trucks may seem surprising, but deep pocketed individuals have been paying crazy prices for restorations for decades now. I have an FJ62 Land Cruiser that was LS swapped and restored by Johnathan Ward’s original company TLC 4x4 back in 2007 to the tune of ~$140k not including the purchase of the truck.
