PPI on the 23rd

I owned a very low mileage Topaz/crema Z8, never drove it and sold it 10 years ago. In a few days a good friend and Ferrari expert will examine a 1700 mile 2001 silver/black Z8 for me. It has all of the accessories including coffee table book, window sticker, etc.
Besides the obvious i.e. paint, body, shock towers, leather, etc. what are the specific areas/issues that should be closely evaluated.
I will report back following Monday’s PPI.

Headlights, taillights, vanos, head liner, seat back clips. Andrew is the guy to inspect…

Hello Norcal,The car is in FL and in my opinion my experienced Ferrari guy can do a good job assessing it. How does one check the vanos. Any other thoughts would be appreciated. LarryG

It’s been so long I can’t remember, but it is all here on the site. Being a 2001, and with such low miles, it probably doesn’t apply. I think it was the 2000s that got updated t some point.

Thanks very much. I am very confident that this car will be in my garage very shortly. Always regretted selling my Topaz/crema MY2000 years ago. I do find that silver/black is my favorite color combo but the market seems to like Topaz, Red and Stratus.

Car was examined yesterday. Will go over it at length with my PPI guy later today. No phone or First Aid Kit. Everything else looks good. Are these items available. Thanks

First Aid kit is an easy BMW part from any dealer, phone is an EBay search.
