500 HP Twin Turbo Z8 with 21" Wheels

Came across this little beast in Europe. Interesting shock absorber setup.

I would have guessed a lot more HP with two turbos.

I like the outside diameter of the tires but not the sidewall height. Same O.D. Tire with a 19" or 18" wheel would not only look better, but have a much more supple ride.

    IMO of course.

heavily modified for performance. Although, not to the level of GM's car

Interesting car, I wonder how bad the turbo lag is?

If its only putting out 500 HP my guess is boost is around 4-6 PSI which leads me to believe the internals are stock so lag should not really be too much of an issue since it is a high compression motor. IMO would look better if all the hoses were black.

That's why I'm going to try the 295/35 20 Michelin 4S on the Alpina wheels. Adds a bit more meat to the sidewall. I'd love to run the 305/35 20 for extra wheel protection but fear it might be too wide and I don't want to hit outer body panel. Toying with the idea of buying one and mounting it and seeing how it goes.

Remember that not all 295/35-20" are the same width. Even within the Michelin line-up.

The K1 Ferrari 295/35-20 MPSS is a little wider than the 305/35-20 MPSS.

Which is super irritating....like, I thought 305 mm was supposed to mean 305 mm. I wish they would publish actual tread width, something Michelin does not publish and Tirerack is not reliable for. BTW, the tires for the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S are much bigger than their measurements would lead you to believe. When I checked last with Tirerack the Ferrari tire was not yet available. Will have to check again.
