Wheels available for the BMW Z8 with wheel weight information

I was hoping to discover what are the wheel options for the Z8 factoring in the wheel weights. I just weighed a set of HRE 3-piece 19" x9" and 19"x10" wheels and the weights were approximately 27 pounds for the front (19x9) and 25.8 pounds for the rear (19x10).

Would love to see pics of other wheel options along with the the weight of the wheels.

Those are HRE's?! Bitchin'—they look something like the no-longer-available Dinan wheels!

Thanks. Yes, HRE....and yes, unfortunately something HRE no longer sells Thankfully the rim sections are still available. How do you think these compare, looks-wise, to the Alpina wheels?

I have run the same HRE's since the begining. HRE will build them again for you but be prepared, they are about 2x what they were back then and even then they were EXPENSIVE.

I also believe they will rebuild if you need damage fixed. My hats are painted metallic charcoal and have a few tiny chips, Was thinking they might need refinishing soon.

heavily modified for performance. Although, not to the level of GM's car

I wonder what HRE charges for a restoration of a set of these wheels.

    Good question.

I read of someone who did it himself. Disassembled wheels, had the center section painted at the body shop, polished the barells himself and reassembled.

It was a lot of work.

Sounds like it. And I believe they say all the hardware is to be replaced when re-assembling

Still should be a lot less than new wheels I would think.
