Does anyone know the specific weight for the 20" Alpina wheels for the Z8, front and rear weight?
Assuming these are the correct wheels, I get:Front 32.5 lbs, Rear 33.8 lbs(weighed with a little bit of bubble wrap)

I just weighted my 3-piece HRE wheels, 19x9 front and 19x10 rear, and they weigh (approximately) 27 lbs for the front and 25.8 for the rear, a fairly substantial weight saving per wheel compared to the stock wheels and compared to the 20". Hmmm.
Alpina 20x9 = 32.6 lbs
Alpina 20x10 = 33.2 lbs (according to my bathroom scale which has been pretty accurate)
Not sure about these figures. I have read on the Internet, a BMW Forum website, that the same wheels but 21x9 and 21 x 10.5 are
Front rim 9x21 - has 14.5 kg 31.9 pounds
Rear rim 10.5x21 - has 15.1 kg 33.2 pounds
A Retailer of the 21" wheels on Ebay states in a responsive email: "according to BMW/Alpina the fronts are 32 pounds and the rears are around 33.5 pounds each".
So it would seem the 21" Alpina wheels weigh the same as the Z8 Alpina wheels but with an extra half inch in the rear.
What tire size and make/model did you end up going with?
2000 Red over black
