On our way to a soccer game...

As a car guy driving our daughter to her soccer game through the city of Atherton I was treated to seeing a silver McLaren F1, a matte gray AMG GT R and a yellow Lamborghini Gallardo spider. I should mention too that our daughter scored a goal. Now that is a good Sunday afternoon.

Great tale, now you need to get her to be your photo person so she can keep busy on the drive, and entertain us! ;-)

I have only seen a McLaren F1 twice in person before in Monterey (see below). Albeit in one of the most expensive cities in the world, to see one on the road was like seeing a unicorn at the end of a rainbow.

The headlights are the only thing that really dates it. Beautiful!

I'd love one, the McLaren and the GT-R - and a Z8 for that matter! ;-)

Without a doubt! I am curious about how the long rumored AMG GT Black Series could possibly be better.

I am probably in the minority here, but I found the front-end styling of the original AMG-GT much cleaner and more pleasing to my eye. I find the 2017 and newer grille to be evocative of an early 1950's Buick!

Have you been posting on the AMG Forum? 😊. The Panamerica grill is a nod to MBís 300 SLs.

Count me in the minority as well. The earlier version is much more elegant.

Another GT R parked next to an Aston Martin in a humble Honda garage in Basel Switzerland.
