    Petrolicious article

Petrolicious had a very brief article regarding a European drive with a BMW Z8 and a BMW 850i. There are some nice pictures, but the article itself is very, very brief if you even can call it an article.

They're really nice shots that totally remind me of our incredible run over to the Villa D'Este a bunch of years ago. It was one of the really sweet life experiences that the Z8 brought me. Hard to believe it was 12 years ago already!

There's a whole photo essay in the gallery starting here - https://www.bmwz8.us/gallery.php?GalleryID=121
and a review of our time there here - http://www.bmwz8.us/forum/drives-tri...006-a-515.html

Here's the Petrolcious pix in full because they're good enough to share!

It's strange to think we met in person for the first time on that trip, Andrew.

It feels like a lifetime ago. So many great memories since then!

I know, the Z8 really has provided us with so many incredible memories. It will always be the 'car of my life'.

Andrew, why is it that the "Bright Red" on the Z8 looks so washed out in photos? Almost looks orange.

The photos have been quite heavily photoshopped, so I imagine that its a combination of the processing and your screen. On my end they look pretty much true to color, but just very bright, saturated and poppy, which is how I think the guy who did them wanted them. I just copied them over without making any changes.

I am surprised he didn't put the Tonneau cover on. 🤔
    2000 Red over black
heavily modified for performance. Although, not to the level of GM's car
