Fresh on the market and never advertised before now is this 2003 BMW Z8 with 5,537 original miles. Featured in ultra rare Topaz Blue on Crema this is truly a beautiful car. Only 138 Z8's were delivered to the US with this color combo and only 319 were delivered in Topaz Blue in general. The car is in excellent condition both cosmetically and mechanically. No paintwork, chips, dings, accidents or stories and clean Carfax. This 1-owner Florida car comes with service records, books, 2 original keys with leather cases, tool kit, first aid kit, matching coffee table book, windshield/tanocover, hardtop stand and matching hardtop - the softtop is crema. This is arguably the rarest low mile Z8 on the market right now and will not be around long.

    VIN:WBAEJ13413AH62064
    Price: $325,000

I hope you got every penny you were asking! Of course, the only problem is that it makes my car less drivable.

Thank you. So glad such a great car is not going overseas!

That must be a new record for Z8 pricing. Fantastic car in a great color combination. Which leads me ask, what role does color play in the pricing equation? It appears the buyer paid a significant premium for this car over a lot of available cars showing similar mileage and condition, but in a more common color. The same seller recently sold a red car at a substantial premium as well. Thoughts?

Color has a large impact on value in today's market. The rarer and more desirable combos will command the most money as these two most recent sales comps will suggest. I think the fact this was a 2003 model also played into the equation by some $20K or so over a 2002 model. Glad to see it staying stateside. Congrats on the sale!

My car was appraised a few weeks ago and the appraiser said that cars with rare colors are appraised higher than the "common" Titanium and Black
