    Skip,

The set consists of a zipper mechanism that can unzip the old window and reinstall the new window. Furthermore there are some covers to clip over the zipper ends

Thank you - I will have to replace mine, however, most likely I will wait till next spring as my driving pleasure this summer is limited to only going to work and back home due to some heavy footed driving on one of the Porsche Club outings last summer (an unfortunate date with an airplane patrol...).

Damn, that's bad luck I guess the Valentine 1 won't save you from that!

I keep worrying that they'll try patrolling our back roads with drones.

Skip - Where did that happen? I'm pretty sure you weren't in CA. I didn't think too many other states than CA and NV actually patrolled the roads with aircraft even though they may have signs stating they do. That has to be an expensive proposition these days especially considering the aircraft operating costs and high price of fuel these days. Not sure there's enough in a ticket to cover those costs.
    Thanks,

This was in rural IOWA! Truly in the "middle of nowhere". The patrolman who stopped us (the first three in a group of approximately 12 cars) as we came to a country highway intersection down the road stated that they were running a special operation that weekend to monitor speeds. This was a two lane country highway with a speed limit of 55. According to him they can only ticket the first three cars as the measurements become inaccurate with more cars and the others were let to pass. The alleged speed was 104. It was reduced to 94 through negotiations, however, in Iowa this results in an automatic 6 month suspension of the license. 104 would have resulted in a one year suspension. Work permit was then approved by IDOT - 102 days remain...

WOW! Sorry to hear that. IOWA?? Wouldn't have expected that. I guess the moral of that story is to make sure you're #4 or later in convoy, at least in IOWA. I've got a lot more to say about this kind of action by cops, but I'll withhold further comments regarding their ancestry for now so as not to get off on an ugly tangent on the board. Again, sorry to hear about your plight and the time passes quickly.
    Thanks,
    Terry

You are in Iowa?! Where a bouts? I'm in Mt Vernon.

The airport I fly out of frequently has the ISP land for fuel/coffee break. I too was surprised that they still patrol by aircraft!
