That is fun, I wish we could just press rewind and do it all again, that really was a great week of car fun!

I may pop up again next year, but on a far smaller scale without any major group arranging, but if anyone else wants to join in you're welcome. Maybe just do the Thursday drive, Friday at the Quail and Saturday at Laguna. I'd drive up Wed and home Sunday, food for thought.

I was sort of thinking the same. The Quail really was the "bees knees".

Maybe stay in Carmel Valley too, as I'd be happy keeping out f the fogs on the coast!

We'll be good there, I sent a large signed print to Mathiaus who runs it, so I think we'll be good this year too!

I wonder if they'll let me take the Lotus on the car paths at speed?

I was thinking the same thing...The Quail was a great time.

A day and night in Monterey to see some of the auction cars maybe a couple days in Napa. Just enough time at a relaxing pace.

I might also be in for the Z8 10th anniversary.

Have to decide that one soon...probably do one, but not both.

I wouldn't hurry to do Napa in August again, we got incredibly lucky this year with an unseasonably cool spell, its usually around 100? in the valley in August! Napa it is better done in the spring or autumn, and oddly enough I have to head up there for a wedding in the spring, so maybe I can combine it with a driving day in Pope Valley with some of the local cars?

For Monterey I'll buy my tix to the Quail, and book a a room at Bernardus when I get back from Hong Kong so that I have the option. I'm happy with a short stay, Wed evening - Sunday, but I may even drive home the Saturday depending on what they're doing at the Historics.
