That's such great news, it's an awesome car!
I've never heard of the Ring folks, but I think this one in a coated polished metal would be my choice, this angle looks great, and would match the Z8 well.
I'd get a 19" x 9" from and 10" at back...
This is a very beautiful shape that I han't seen before and think would sit really well with the Z8. I always like HRE, they make a great product.
I guess he didn't get a very good deal at Aston Martin then. He certainly disappointed at Ferrari and opened the door for Leclerc to shine.
He must be going through a dark night of the soul now,...
I'd be intrigued to know what he's keeping!
Makes a great pairing with the Z8, they certainly have a circuitous connection since Goetz also design the 507.
That's gorgeous, as a kid my dad had a 2 door fastback Studebaker from the same era for a couple of years, many fond memories!
Fantastic news, bravo and welcome to the club!!
This post gives you more info on the old one too - http://www.bmwz8.us/forum/tips-tricks-useful-information/hard-top-hoist-211.html
Yes, there used to be a Z8 specific custom made roof mounted electrical pulley system here in the US called EZ Lift, and a few Mercedes owners I know had a similar thing for the old Pagoda & SL560...
Fantastic stable and great plates, bravo!
Hi Benoit, I totally forgot I owe you a text - I'll help you over Zoom or FaceTime when you're with the car, no worries.
The Z8 came with both Crema and Black soft tops, and also Crema and/or...
I remember many speaking of Pat at Classic in Plano as being a great friend of the Z8 community, not sure if he's still there or has the technical knowhow to do the PPI, but he'd certainly know who...
That's an awesome price, they've been going for up to $2500!!
Good luck, we have the images here that I can get printed for you, but you will have to find or exchange the crema leather.
Happy New Year Dieter!!
I still remember my brief drive in your 500hp super-tuned Z8, what a fabulous engine!
So grateful for the amazing drives that we got to do in Europe, they remain some of...
It's a hell of piece, and if you have a man cave with several of the cars in its pages, then the price is likely somewhere between inconsequential and irrelevant! :rotflmao::rotflmao:
I know that Satch has been an enthusiastic proponent of the new generation of Bridgestone runflats. I've never tried them, but he's very keen on them.
The Z8 was an absolutely stunning car to drive fast on the open road, especially with the upgrades us more enthusiastic track day nuts did to improve the handling and ride.
Back when I had mine,...
and part two....
It'll take two posts...
You can email it me and i'll try to get it up there. The software is getting old and crotchety!
Didn't realize it had been, what I pain!
Awesome color, great ride!
Stunning!!
So that was interesting, a year I never ever thought would be part of our reality.
Here's to a better year for all!!
While there's nothing much good happening in the world, I...
If you don't ask you never get!
Best bet seems to keep an eye on EBay. There were a couple in discussion recently.
Yes, Matt Carver.
Awesome, good for him!

You should be good to PM now - this darned software never lets me know when new members sign up, so it's down to my memory - and that ain't great!:rotflmao:
You can personalize a book with a VIN plate from BMW and we have copies of most of the color combo images that go in the first page, so I'd say the best bet os keep an eye open on Instagram, as they...
I always loved the Z8 with the hardtop too, it looks a lot more badass that way. I took a lot o shots of my first one with the top on as I used to take it the track a lot, and you had to keep it on...
I deleted him, guess he was just some kind of scammer, I try to keep them out but they do sneak in.
