Damn! That’s super cool!
Do you have a pic of what you’re building? Sounds like some serious adventure!
Wow, that’s crazy! Can’t believe it’s
‘Classic”. Was when it was new?
I think ceramic would give too much shine. Matte/flat clear coat should work?
Link worked for me… no price listed.
Other than colors, all configs are the same… right? Not like a ‘60s muscle car.
Love that one. Always my favorite! Could be why I put black wheels on my black car.
A 1/2 inch is a lot!
I look forward to seeing the pics!
At one point, I had ac schnitzer on mine…. Low and mean, but aggressive, and not kind on the shock towers. I switched to full euro alpina.
Andrew, if I still had my car and book, I would have sent you my black/crema photo!
That’s a euro plate bracket for sure! Good catch.
Those look particularly good on sliver cars… IMHO
If you are talking about the roll hoops behind the seats, I seem to recall they were Hamann.
That sounds like a good idea. Steering will feel lighter, at the expense of a slight loss in ultimate front end grip. If you’re not driving at 8-10 10ths, it should be much better. But, the steering,...
I agree. Most if not all of the aluminum is real!
It does seem to be a crazy expensive kit-car knock off. A real Z8 is much better… and cheaper. What’s the point? Like fiskers reskined sls, but less original.
Sounds amazing. You need to get photos Andrew!
I still need to see the interior… z4 based? Aluminum or fiberglass?
I assume Satch is keeping nancy drew…
I agree! Very close to the z07. If you look at the seam/break in the roof, it looks like the previous z4 coupe. The rear quarter window does have some curve in the bottom that the bmw doesn’t.
No interior shots… older z4 based? Beautiful on the outside.
Those huge roundels on the headrests are truly hideous…
I would assume not. I recall they were concurrent. Might have been a good ploy to have done it that way as a swan song.
It’s been so long I can’t remember, but it is all here on the site. Being a 2001, and with such low miles, it probably doesn’t apply. I think it was the 2000s that got updated t some point.
I agree! Almond green please!
Headlights, taillights, vanos, head liner, seat back clips. Andrew is the guy to inspect…
The black on black currently active is not looking nearly as strong… color, miles, etc?
Not that I’ve ever seen, and that’s a lot. I’ve owned/own 5 Porsches going back to 07, never once. My oldest current is a 2010… nothing.
Thanks Ed. Cool shots! Looks like a great event.
Safari seems to be fine too…
I might add, that some people in the early days didn’t even get their hard top!
Wish I could come! I’ll be in Vegas. Have fun.
My mistake…. Senior moment!
Beautiful car! Number should be strong.
It’s on the outer leather? That’s not right.
The vin sticker is on the inside. Not on the cover/front
That upcoming silver should be a whole different price… I would think.
Beautiful!
