Do you still have the link?
Guys, I am not reading vzben is expecting a pristine low mileage car.
Silver over black is also most common, no?

It would be great to find out just which components were shared with the e39 & e38.
It can't be as simple as having the same #'s, could it?
This week's car is in Titanium;

If is indeed a darker color, (not the photography) I like it very much.
I can understand how an observer would see a Z8 as the modern interpretation of a Cobra.
I wonder if the incredible 5 into 10 spoke BBS lightweight F1 forged wheels are still available?
A forum member from Switzerland was on a mission to reduce weight and he ran the BBS F1's. They...
I love them.
How expensive are they? Seems HRE's are going for about 50% more than they were about 5-6 years ago.
I have the exact same wheels and love them. GLWS!
It was a good deal....for the buyer. Hopefully he'll join us here.

Wow those are low profile tires.
Love the ride height.
+1 nice write up.
It's all cyclical. Even the most Coveted cars from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche and Mercedes had lulls.
250 GTO's were just used race cars at one point. Even street cars like Daytonas and 512's...
Remember that not all 295/35-20" are the same width. Even within the Michelin line-up.
The K1 Ferrari 295/35-20 MPSS is a little wider than the 305/35-20 MPSS.
I would have guessed a lot more HP with two turbos.
I like the outside diameter of the tires but not the sidewall height. Same O.D. Tire with a 19" or 18" wheel would not only look better, but...
Sounds like some skin will be torn off the knuckles. 😕
and yet I hate the thought of someone else laying on my fenders.
Interesting comparison, aren't the Spring rates for both readily available?

I think more than one set was available here, who knows, still might be available?
I haven't been able to find any substantive real world reviews on the KW coilovers.
I suspect you are correct, and with the car out of production for 16 years, I don't expect to see any real R&D...
It might be a while. I bought it when I had the 295 and 275 tires as the car was a little low in the rear and I wanted to correct that.
since going to the 285/40 rear tire, the stance improved...
No, still with the stock shifter.
I have the KW coil-overs, but they are still in the box. Haven't had the time to install.
I thought I better buy a UCC short shift kit before they become...
I got the lightweight flywheel, headers, cold air intake boxes, intake runners, ECU software, adjustable sway bars and coil springs.
I did my Brembos much earlier, directly thru Brembo, in 2002....
I was under the impression that only cars done at Dinan received plaques.
Only my headers were done there.
No, I don't have the plaque. My headers were done at Dinan, my car was used to prototype the headers that did not require denting of the firewall/transmission tunnel.
Everything else was done by ...
I have all the Dinan S2 upgrades as well.
when I switched rear tire sizes, the rear tire height increased from 27.1" to 28".
It was noticeable. Was it horrible? No.
I now wish I had gone...
I too do not like the rubber band profile tires and ran 295/35 Yokohama AVS until they were discontinued.
But I am on 19" wheels. Have you compared the overall diameter of the tires? On a 20"...
I read Adam Carolla has a similar lift to bring his Miura SV up into the living room.
Only his house was a gorgeous 1920's Spanish villa type house in the Hollyood hills.

26K miles, Silver over black
I think that looks really nice.
Mike, do you have a picture of the Pioneer unit in your dash?
Great surprise!
Mine come on whenever the hood is opened but they do turn off automatically after 10 minutes or so (haven't timed it).
I need to get out more, not familiar with Liqui Moly either. I need to bone up on oils.
