...and here's the proof
I will soon need to replace my thrust arm bushings. A post several years ago recommended Meyle all rubber bushings over the OEM fluid filled bushings. It also recommended against polyurethane...

Here's another pair of "Fiskers" from Cars & Coffee in Great Falls, VA with my Z8 and a local Fisker. We both arrived really early that day!
There's a great comparison article in the new (August 2016) issue of Bimmer magazine on page 54. It's titled "THREE EIGHTS, FLYING THE FLAG - What makes of flagship BMW?"
Bottom line and closing...
I have Stratus/Crema and my hardtop headliner is Crema.
I'm happy (and fortunate) to have BOTH -- a Z8 and a 3.0 CS (with an S38 ///M5 engine!)
I'll be at Monterey, but I'm taking my 3.0 CS, not my Z8. Hope to see and meet some Z8ers during the week. I'll be at Legends of the Autobahn and at the Festorics at Laguna Seca.
Looks like article has now been corrected. It now refers to a "removable" hardtop.
Satch,
I'm surprised you didn't come up with M5RDSTR
Hattat, your work on this project is amazing and incredibly helpful! Is it possible to obtain a sheet like this for a specific non-Alpina Z8? If so, mine is AH61297.
Is there any way to know with any accuracy how many Z8's remain in the US?
Isn't that dash color Stratus?
There was one of these at the Euro Auto Festival this past weekend in Greenville, SC. Looks pretty "real" from a distance, but interior sure gives it away!
+1 Amen!!!
Hi Chris,
I've got just what you're looking for -- unfortunately, it's not for sale. It's my wife's daily driver: 2011 328i xDrive Sportwagon, leMans Blue over Saddle interior, M sport option,...
+1 on both comments!
Very nice! You just need to add a RED one to complete the color spectrum!
Turned over 30K on my way to BMW CCA Oktoberfest last week.
Stratus and Crema was me!

I wonder whose Z8 the included key belongs to???
Dave,
What top did you have put on?
2002 AH61297 and mine is black.
It's the highest point in Florida at a whopping 312 feet above sea level and 246 feet above the surrounding area, so it's a real biggie!
Where & When??
Link doesn't seem to say whether that's the "hammer" price or the total including RM's vigorish.
Headline for this post says $184,800 (dollars)... should be 184,800 Euros, which is $209,100 at today's $1.13 exchange rate. Even more "Wowza"!!
Thanks Ed. I got my copy yesterday. Too bad they cropped out the back of the car, but half is better than none!:)
Andrew, is that coupe different from the Tokyo & Detroit Z07 concept show car?

They are the best! I have natural with cream dots and they look great in my crema interior. And the fit is perfect!
Still looks BETTER than all the new cars!
Hey Craig,
Good to hear from you again. We should get the MD, DC, VA Z8's together for a drive sometime. Can't let the left coasters have all the fun! BTW, I'm just down the road from you in Chevy...
I agree, Satch. I went with Lubri-Moly at my last oil change this month.
Attached is a picture of my 2002 Z8 (Stratus Metallic over Crema) in its primo place in front of the BMW Zentrum at the Euro Auto Festival which was held Saturday, October 18, 2014. I drove down to...
Rear wheels have different P/Ns for M5 (36117834626) and M6 (36112283160). Difference appears to be offset (M5 wheel is 28, M6 is 17).

Front wheels have same P/N. I don't...
Will do! Thanks, Satch.
Is any one else going to the Euro Auto Festival this weekend (October 18-19) at the BMW Zentrum in Spartanburg, SC? If so, give me a call so we can say hello in person! I'll be driving my Z8 down...
