This is a rare chance guys. Please pass the word.
This is my car with the sale being handled by VSR.https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/bmw/z8/2090890.html
Mario and Chris Langsten of Vintage Sports and Restoration will handle this sale for me. They are quite familiar with the car and and can be contacted for deatailed information.
Well fellas, to give you all an idea as to the magnitude of memorabilia that accompanies this car, I have Henrik Fister's ORIGINAL design sketches of the car that I purchased from him with a personal...
Andrew,
I've decided that any Factory brochure can be used as a reference for my car. I find dealing with one potential serious buyer directly is far easier than posting a million pictures and...
My car has 18.xxx miles and I have driven every one of them since the selling dealer's lot in July 2002. Please assume it is as nice as a car can be with that mileage. Price 195K OBO-No...
Wow, this punk should be immediately detained and arrested but instead will probably sue the victim for assault. What a screwed up world we live in! I try to just keep my head down and enjoy my...
Hello all,
I am considering a venture off into the wilds of Italian car stewardship. There is an ASA 1000GT that is for sale in Dallas and I really have no contacts there. Anyone feel like...
I only knew Dennis through his generosity with fellow members but could sense how special he was.
RIP Dennis
We will obviously need the involvement of the German (Global) club to reach our quota but I felt waiting for design proposal would be best.
Heard from DWC today. He is working on final design of his new 42mm design from which the Z8 watch will be based. Please spread the word as he will need commitments from 100 clients to make it...
Welcome mv4 from an old timer and original owner. I hope you enjoy the car as much as I do. It's my wife's favorite car as well:-))
Spoke with people at the watch company today and was told that designs shouldn't be expected until March. I will provide them as soon as available.
Many of you saw me with this car in Monterey this past August. It best represents my passion for classic cars. And yes, I drove it to the show.
Will not be giving out any details until design is done. Trying to avoid a million different suggestions by people that have never designed a watch. It should be special and a rare opportunity. ...
Hello all and Happy New Year,
Please spread the word to all Z8 enthusiasts that a special Z8 automatic chronometer is being designed for us. The details, including designs, will be coming within...
A friend just got the white dial version. It looks fantastic.
I for one would be all over he idea of having the owner of DWC design a Z8 watch. I would suggest we give him free rein to design and not quibble amongst ourselves. Ed, if you're serial#001, please...
Very sorry to hear this Dennis. I wish you the very best of luck with your treatment.
I am currently in communication with the German Z8 club to see if they can help.
I've contacted Bell and they said ther're only authorized to offer the 2 options. Anyone with BMW connections that could get them to authorize a Z8 run with their "Z8" logo.
This looks quite good. Does anyone know if the BMW logo could be switched to Z8?
A big Thank You Andrew!! This will be one of my most prized addition to "My Z8" collection.
Andrew,
You've been an invaluable comrade in our love of these cars and your assistance is greatly valued, no matter how long it takes!!
Chris
If any of you would like to thank Andrew collectively for this thoughtful gesture please pm me.
Chris
Did you get my pic Andrew?
Just sent mine Andrew.
I have been right there with Andrew, (tin hat club), for several years now. In the end, we can still drive and enjoy our cars unlike the digital wealth that will likely vanish.
Please let me echo the same "thank you" for keeping the site alive and active!!
Bob, If you can't find the time to drive it, I volunteer:-)
With everything going on in the world it reminds me more than ever: Carpe Diem!!
Hi,
I'm not a real camera guy but am considering a new good compact. I'm leaning towards the RX100 but not sure which one. I do want the capability of easy WiFi transfer which puts me with the...
I used to own a 98 993 C2s with a Tip and felt the same way as Dirk in terms of evolving evaluations. I sold it because it just wasn't as satisfying to drive and, at heart, I'm just not a Porsche...
Hello all,
Looking for winter driver that's fun to drive. Need a wagon, want a std., need AWD, and don't want to spend a fortune.
Thanks,
Chris
Satch,
Just another subjective viewpoint; I have a Ti/Red car and have had chrome wheels on them for 10 years and think they look great. I do think they complement the other chrome parts of the...
But you left off the chrome bumper; that would make it!
Dirk,
Does this mean you'd be willing to sacrifice your car's originality to show us what a Z8 would look like with a Glas nose for a ZGT?

Speaking of the E36, I've recently purchased a 2000 Z3M coupe. The handling is fantastic and provides a great space for a weekend for two.
It was a Fantastic weekend!! Andrew, we couldn't get into Joe Beef's but nevertheless, had great feasts both nights. We got great scalped tickets for both days at below face values and lucked out...
