This same Z8 AH62120 was sold by Gooding on 8/19/2017 for $440k
I have a new one of these embossed leather Z8 pouches in the original sealed clear plastic bag with the BMW part # sticker on the bag. I can't figure out how to include a picture of it here but if...
Larry, I'm a little confused. The BMW part # I gave you is for the Z8 leather pouch with a zipper to store your key in. It has Z8 embossed in the leather. This is exactly what you show in your...
the BMW part # is 51 21 7 008 769 and my local BMW dealer says his system shows 20 of these available in the US
Sorry, I didn't know you could only buy a nice Z8 at Monterey. I already have mine just thought someone else might be looking to purchase a very nice car.
enthusiastauto.com has a 3,700 mile topez/creama Z8
Andrew,
If the software is definitely headed towards a final collapse, would this be a good time to figure out how to avoid this? Maybe we should pay an annual fee for this website which is a Z8...
The z8 battery chargers were made by Deltran, battery tender#82-11-0-026-663 there phone # is 877-456-7901. I'm not sure if they also made the pouch or if BMW supplied them. Many years ago I spoke to...
Do you still have this item?
Andrew,
Does your 02 owners manuals also come in it's leather Z8 pouch?
It's all about condition and miles. This car looks fresh. Big $ difference in 2k miles and 15k miles.
If my memory is correct BMW no longer has the original chargers. A few months ago I was able to locate the original charger at BMW Bloomfield. They had 3 in their old inventory at that time. BMW part...
Sold on BAT 3/27/21 for $232k +$5k = $237k.
In 2001 when I bought a new M5 I also bought a BMW battery charger that plugs into the cigarette lighter. It was made by Deltran for BMW and was also the same charger that came with the Z8's. I used...
I thought BMW promised to make parts for the Z8's for 50 years?
The last contact I had last year was Nancy McDonald 1-800-831-1117 ext. 5825
I was told by BMW last October that there were no plans to change the design of the Z8 Headlights at this time. I believe BMW made a commitment to make parts for the Z8's for 50 years. I had a 2003...
I originally was told the red car sold for $165 + the buyers fee however it sold for $150k + $15k buyers fee for a total of $165k. I believe this same car was a no sale with a high bid of $175 at the...
Red/Cream Z8 3,800 miles with sagging headliner and needing a thorough interior cleaning sold today at RM Amelia Island Auction for $231k including buyer commission.
There is no mention if the $210k included any buyers fee. Also the installed front licence tag hurts the value $5k and no mention of the coffee table book. Still a good buy.
The price did include the buyers fee.
In my March issue of Sports Car Market it shows a 2000 silver/red-black 27,000 mile Z8 that sold in Paris Fra for $309,269
Which auction was this?
No sale with $240k high bid.
The 500 mile silver/black Z8 with 500 miles in Hilton Head at Auctions America was a no sale at $240k high bid.
Why not just go rent a space or garage in a climate controlled warehouse a little inland and leave the car there?
Is this item in the US or Germany?
Lanny
May I ask what they wanted for this item as I might be interested?
Lanny
What brand have you been using that caused this problem?
Lanny
My 2001 came with a black unit but I had a silver unit a few years ago which I sold.
I think once we the owners start getting involved in outsourcing replacement parts for our cars, because BMW dropped the ball, it won't stop going forward. Ron is correct about the head lights also....
BMW made a commitment to supply parts for 50 years and they should honor that commitment and manage their inventory to insure their customers that we will have parts when needed. It's not our job to...
Sorry the 50 year parts guarantee mention is in the April 2000 Roundel Magazine on page 35
In the May 2000 Roundel Magazine on page 35 it mentions the BMW agreement to provide parts for 50 years.
In my collection of Z8 stuff I have an original Z8 paint card for Criollo red so at some point BMW was going to offer this color prior to the 1999 printing of this brochure.
Have you noticed the exterior colors available when your brochures were printed in 1999 were incorrect?
I live very close to the Performance Center and was told that the blue/black car was a German press car. It is now back in storage and the silver Alpina is back on the floor.
Do you have the 1:18th dealer model for your car? I believe I have a black/crema/black in the original black box if you need one.
Lanny
Thanks. I just bought it.
