A 2000 silver/black Z8 with 9350 miles in excellent condition - asking $98,000.

It has all covers and manuals but not The Book. Both soft and hard top are perfect with no flaws in either. It has the original wheels and tires.

The car was purchased by the current owner from Mountain View BMW with about 4500 miles on the clock. It was originally delivered to Honolulu, but returned to the mainland after a couple of years.

The car is structurally perfect with no doming or panel misalingment, but there are two small flaws. It has a small ding on the bottom of the front spoiler that can be seen on close (very) examination and the dash has a bubble by the defrost vent.

I'd like to see a close-up of the key...

I'm intrigued, why do you need to see the key?

I thought the same thing and had to go back and look at each picture carefully. In one picture you can see a key chain hanging off of the key while it is in the ignition.

I had the same on my old 'beater' Z8 - you just remove the top screw and drill out the hole slightly to create a keyring sized slot. The back of the key stays put fine with one remaining lower screw.

I wouldn't do it again, especially now I have my lovely sterling silver Z8 Club key back attached.

Curious to see that one.

I figured it made more sense to put my cell # on it if it got lost than the cars registration, or my address!

Really neat, but I guess the Club key back would not be appropriate for the factory numbered Alpina key.

I didn't know they did that, what a nice touch, as will everything Alpina.

I just had the pleasure of trying the little D3 and the big B7 in Germany, what simply superb machines!

Andrew, where did you get the Club key back, was that a gift from the first Club meeting?

You can buy them through the club, email Jürgen about them. I love mine!
