Standard M6-rims are:
Front: 19x8.5 ET 12
Rear: 19x9.5 ET 17

Just been to my local BMW dealer.
They had a new M6 in the shop and I wanted to see if these rims would fit the big BREMBO brake kit which I had installed. They looked very good and more in harmony with teh car then my present Alpina(20") rims. They fitted even better than the Alpina rims (no need for a spacer any more on front wheels). Now I just have to wait and see what they will want to charge me for them. Any of you can give me hint what you paid for them?

Paid for the rims less than 2.500 Euro. :rolleyes:

they quoted me 2,125 ex vat. so similar.
what tyres have you put on them. They suggest Michelin MPS same as M6 has.

They look really sharp! How does the weight compare to the stock rims?

we weighed the rims at the shop (at least the rear rims to compare). The M6 rims with tires weigh 24.2kg against the 20" Alpina of 25.8kg. I assume the stock rims plus tires will weigh more then the Alpina's especially with the runflat option incorporated.

Switched my old Bridgestone S-03 (245/40 and 275/35) from the Schnitzer-rims onto the M-rims.

Can you post a close up of the front and rear to see how the Brembo Big brakes look in contrast to the M6 wheels?

This car is presently for sale in Miami and on ebay.

Saw the photos of the M6 rims on this Topaz car and wanted to save them in the event anyone is presently, or will be considering these wheels in the future and is wondering how they would look.

I think those wheels look great on Klaus' black Z8 but not so much on the Topaz. The M5 wheels you have compliment the car much more or the stock ones.

I too like the open look on the black car. Gives it a bit of an edge. They look very out of place on the Topaz.
