HRE 540
After weeks of debating and photoshoping I finally decided on the HREs 540 19' polished and clear coated. I love how they look. The wheels catch your eye and add to the cars classy look. I know, that is very subjective. I was toying with the idea of getting 20' rims but the tires selection was very limited and expensive.

SO3's
I didn't like the run flats very much. Next to an uncomfortable ride, they had limited grip, ran after every inperfection, and were noisy. These are my first new tires so I really can't compare them with other none stocks like the Pilots. In any case, I like the SO3s better than the stock tires in every aspect described above. Also in heavy downpours the tires seemed to displace enough water to keep the car safely on the road. I kept the width same as stock (275, 245).

Enjoy, Claus

Thoose are really pretty wheels indeed!
How much wider than standard rims are they, and did you have to use any spacers etc?
How does the contact patch size compare?
What pressures are you running them at?

The wheels are custom made. So no spacers. The wheels are 19" 8.5 and 10, which will give me plenty of expantion options for the rubber. I played around with the tire pressure from 28 to 35 psi. I found 32 gave me the best compromise between side wall support and grip. I kept front and back the same. Haven't played with that yet. The weight for the back wheels is 54 lbs vs 63 for the OEM set up. Definetly some saving there.
