Hamann in Germany have long been making upgrades for the Z8, including these three-piece HAMANN PG3 light alloy wheels.
Fronts are 9Jx20 FA with 245/35 ZR 20 ContiSport Contact tyres.
Rears 9.5Jx20 with 275/30 ZR 20 ContiSport Contact tyres.
They make two types, clean lines on the silver car, and studded on the red car.
These cars feature the Hamann lowering kit, Hamann rear valance with integrated diffuser, rear wing and side skirts, high-polished HAMANN stainless steel roadster bars, HAMANN stainless steel high performance exhaust system with four 76 mm exhaust tips.
The red car below was prepared for a gentleman in Monaco who wanted something that would eclipse his friends Ferrari's. Hamann went to town creating a 'Sport Kit' including modifications on the cylinder heads and the induction system, exhaust manifolds with sports silencers and a full recalibrating of the ECU delimiting the standard 155mph (250 km/h) speed limit. The kit adds about 50 HP/36.8 kW with a 0-60 that was said to be under 4.0 seconds at the time. (One of the car mags did a full story on the car when it was completed, I read it at the time, but didn't keep a copy.)
