Now I have seen it all. I thought 30-series or 25-series were low profile.
These are supposedly called "rubber-band tires". 30" wheels. Perfect for the Z8 don't you agree?
I guess there's no more need for tire dressing either, since there's no sidewall. I wonder if you even inflate them.

I think this will start a new trend.

hmm, looks stupid, unsafe and terrible drive, so why? I can miss this trend and never regret it. Heck that set up barely works on Monster Trucks.

Make sure you have the PP installed before switching to such low-profile setup

RFLOL, that is true, hope they got that in place before they did the headlight adjustment.

bvhbmw, with your PhotoShop skills, could you in your spare time if you desire, take the 507 hood scope and add it to the Z8 hood? Keeping the low profile, but I would imagine the dimensions might be different, so that I can see what that legacy styling bit would have looked like on the Z8. No worries, if you are too busy, just an idea I am kicking around in my head if I ever buy an extra hood.

Brian,
Cool idea. Here's my rendering of your request. Click for full size.

Now that is looking sweet. Do you think if we extended it down to the top of the headlights and made the height a little bit higher would work? Can we do it from a head on view?

Looking sweet. What do you think about the proportions? Would the Z8 hood scoop be better if it was wider to follow the natural line of the hood? I think if it was as wide as the lines already there, we might have a hit.
I like it.

that is it! I think the longitudinal spike probably isn't needed on the updated model - what do you think? It would be a little cleaner and I think my vision is complete - now to find that extra hood.

okay, here's no spike.
