On a recent trip, Lisa found an issue when closing the passenger door. With some help from a passerby, we worked out that the latch mechanism was sticking and not getting out of the way to let the little bar thing (on the car) into place. Slamming harder didn't seem like a good idea either!
We managed to get the latch part moving again (although it did bite Lisa when it let go) and we applied some WD 40, and the problem hasn't re-occurred yet.
The car is 9 years old, and I've never lubricated this part. I'm guessing no-one else has either!
