I notice this every other week when I was the car. Only around 150 miles transpire between each wash. The soot deposition pattern is minimal, powdery, black, and deposited only on the lower portion of both exhaust tips equally. There is no oily residue, and it cleans up with a gentle swipe of the wash rag. The engine oil level has remained the same over hundreds of miles. Is this okay, or I am experiencing carbonization of the cylinder heads at an enhanced rate over what should be expected? Thanks.
