Alpina Wheels

I simply love the look of the Alpina wheels on the Z8 and am considering getting a set however buying these new from the dealer will leave quite a hole in the wallet. Does anyone have any experience with buying these "reconditioned" to OEM spec? Surfing the web I noticed that wheelsrims.net offers the 4 wheels for about $1,500.
Any suggestions or comments?

$1500 for 4 wheels sounds very fishy.I would stay away.They are most probably junk

I think the Alpina Wheels would look outstanding on our Z8's.

I used to have alpina wheels. With tires new the package was 3000 GBP. Sold them after few years for 1200 euro's so second hand 1500 usd can be real. New ones off course sound fishy and I know they have "fakes" around. The originals are produced by BBS and you can see their "MARK" inside the rims.

No, have not decided what to do as yet but close to $4,000 for a set of new ones seems a lot.

Check with Dana at Peter Pan - he suggested that I put Alpina rims on my car and the told me that he could get them.
