Dear Club Members and BMW Z8 owners,

To follow the idea of having the most complete database about problems and solutions on our cars, I will post in this thread all the technical information publications we made in our Club Magazines.

This information will be available on the official BMW Z8 Club e.V. website www.Z8-Club.de (http://www.Z8-Club.de) in English and German as well.

this is all really great info, and great work by the club.

This is also a great example of the value of having a 'one world club' that has direct connections to BMW AG, and can do so much to help us keep our cars in tip-top shape going forward.

If you plan on being a long term owner I can't emphasize enough how important it is for owners here in the US to support the club. The guys in Germany put so much time and effort into this fully volunteer run club, and BMW AG takes it so seriously, that this really is the best investment any owner can make towards the long term stewardship of his or her car. A wider US participation will add a lot of weight to the club, and answer all our needs as the caretakers, curators and drivers of BMW's most beautiful car since the 507.

As a handy aside there are also all the wonderful adventures the organize in Europe. Any one of these would be a perfect addition to the itinerary of your next European Delivery from BMW.

A present for members of the BMW Z8 Club e.V. in December 2011 and available in our online shop (www.Z8-Club.de (http://www.Z8-Club.de)) approx. January 2012!

The often occurring bulging of the bottom part of the rear bumper will be completely prevented with the installation of the reinforcement-bracket. Without the reinforcement-bracket this bulging can lead to massive noise development in the tail area of the vehicle due to air circulation and resonance and eventually leads to tears in the lower part of the rear bumper next to the screws.

The reinforcement-bracket for the rear bumper (bottom part) of the BMW Z8 is solely developed by the BMW Z8 Club e.V., it is made of brushed stainless steel and manufactured in laser-cut-technology, it is exclusively available from the Club-owned Z-Acht GmbH.

Yes, thats it! The funds will be for 2012 of course, even we are still in 2011! You don't have to pay membership fees for only one month (December) in 2011!
