This is the set of tires I like the most of the ones I have tried so far on the Z8.
There is little to choose between them and the MPS in terms of my lap times, but I like the feel of them a bit more. They seem more planted, predictable, and less affected by the heat This is a purely subjective opinion, but until I have a chance to try the new MPS Sport Cups, or the Goodrich KD compound tires the SO3's get my vote for being best tire for the Z8.
I have also swapped the MPS for SO3's on my M3smg, and there is a noticable improvement on that car too, so I feel confident in saying this is the best street, sport and occasional track day tire I've tried yet.
