As carbon ceramic disks might be a bit too modern for the Z8 (and would require certain other modifications), and as one would like to save 6 - 7.5 lbs. of rotating and unsprung weight per corner, perhaps titanium disks!

And the drawings for the Z8 disks (380 Millimeter x 32 Millimeter Front, 345 Millimeter x 28 Millimeter Rear).

Even if they were ugly, to eliminate 6 to 7.5 lbs. of rotating and unsprung weight per corner over the Brembo kit will dramatically improve the car. And that combined with the weight reduction from the new forged aluminum wheels will be quite spectacular.

That really is quite a great saving!

Don't forget I want first dibs on your car if ever even have half an inclination to sell it!

(hopefully I have won the lotto by then!! :rotflmao: )

Between the rotors and wheels, you could be approaching a savings of 20lbs per corner. That's especially incredible as it is unsprung and rotating!

Bob, it would be great to see a total break down of the weight savings on your car, including notes of unsprung, rotating, etc.
