New, never installed Eisenmann exhaust for Z8. Purchased in October 2011 and I sold my car shortly afterward. Now it is just sitting in my hangar collecting dust. Paid $3,240 for the system, will sell for $1,600. Can ship UPS from my business.

Brett
Are these the "louder exhaust" that the majority of people on this forum like? I believe they have been referred to as the Eisemann Race?
Thank you sir.
Drew
The "forum edition" is beyond race... Louder. Awesome!
Thanks NorCal!
Brett
If that is case please PM me. I am interested!
Thanks,
dc
Drew,
These are the GT version, so not as loud as the Race version, but much "throatier" than the original exhaust, especially when on the throttle. A friend of mine had a set on his Z8 and they really sounded great. It definitely made his Z8 sound much better than my stock one, but not so loud that it bothered you when cruising. That is why I purchased them.
Sigh....
I know, I know: It's just me. I love me some glasspacks as well as the next guy (Cherry Bombs and lakers, my my my), but since I know how hard BMW's sound engineers worked to make it sound like a '50s V8 instead of an E39 M5, a Z8 with baddass boomers is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me. If you've ever driven a 507—sit down, Dirk!—then you know what they were searching for.
And they found it. But y'all want to throw it away? Hey, I have an old set of Supertraps I could sell ya....

Sorry I am a little confused.
I gather that Eisenmann produced three exhausts for the Z8?
-GT
-Race
-Forum Edition
This would be the GT which would be louder than stock, but less than Race and much less than the "Forum Edition" Does that sound right?
NorCal maybe you have the answer? I appreciate the help here.
Best,
dc
Eisenmann made three exhausts for the Z8,
1.) Road - they were almost the same as stock
2.) Sport/GT - slightly louder than stock, only really perceptible under hard acceleration
3.) Race - appreciably louder, but not anti social.
It was Meisterschaft who made the Forum Edition / Hooligan special we all love so much :-)

Speak for yourself, Andrew! Is that the exhaust you had at Laguna Seca? Eew. Sounded like you were auditioning for the Viper Club.![]()
That's the sweet sound of a raucous V8 in full hooligan mode, what more beautiful music can there be that that?

Thanks for all the information crew.
Brett if I am going to upgrade then it is going to be more towards the hooligan side of the spectrum.
Thanks again for the quick replies.

Did you ever sell the exhaust?
Hi Dan, I might be. Private message me and we can discuss. Ted
I still have my new set of Eisinmann exhaust as listed two years ago. I lost sight of this sight and was not monitoring it. If anyone is interested please email be direct at: [email protected]. I will sell them for $1,000 to anyone who wants them! Just want to see them go to a good home!
That's a great opportunity for some lucky Z8 owner. Unless were starting to feel a little self-conscious drawing attention in this day of Teslas. :-)
i already have the Eisenmann system on my car
very recommended!!
Let us know once they sell.

Hi all, missed the forum so thought I would stop in. For anyone considering the Eisenmann race, I had that setup on my car and loved it. Always present but never overbearing. Great sound.
