2001 Z8 (#60648) Black/Cream-Black with 17,600 miles - Sold

This really nice two owner car has been with its current owner since it's third year, and came to her with just 3,600 miles.

It has had the oil changed every year, and many of the small Z8 bugs have been constantly updated and upgraded. It comes with all the keys, and almost everything that should have come with the car, except the book and the window sticker.

The shock tower domes, head lights, soft top, soft top strings, hardtop tips, dash, center mirror and rims are all perfect. The paint meter readings are perfect, and all the correct VIN tags are on every panel. The only things I would consider concerns are the calipers need and polish and repaint, one of the elements on the left rear lamp is working intermittently, there are two small marks on the paint and the lower lip has a few scuff marks on it. Other than that it is a really great car at a very, very fair price.

A lovely, clean and well cared for car in great overall condition that would make an absolutely fabulous driver for someone looking for a car to get out on the open road and really enjoy a Z8 doing what it does best.

Great car ! This will be an awesome set of wheels and the price seems extremely reasonable if not surprisingly low. The color combination is one of the most stylish for Z8, not that I would ever have an other black car (since my E39 M5 I had before the Z8...).

This interior is my personal absolute favorite on a black car, it makes for really light airy cabin which really emphasizes the openness of the open top experience, but it really has a more sporty and edgy feel than the all crema.

There have been a couple of decent sell thrus on Bat. The upside is you are not paying Craig Jackson 10-15% or what ever he is charging now. Max fee for the seller is $250 and buyer $5,000. That can equate into a better # for both parties.

This is a beautiful car. Should get a lot of excitement on Bat, even if it means a sale after the auction. A buddy of mine sold his car to the high bidder after the auction failed to meet the reserve. We aren't talking something of this caliber tho.

Crazy low price considering the miles and condition! I'm not a fan of black cars but for someone who is this is an awesome deal! Did you try posting it on Ebay?

Slap on a Brembo brake kit and this ride will be sweet! Then bolt on some Alpina wheels or the BMW BBS mesh style wheels and its a $200k ride!

Well then I am surprised it has not been sold yet. I am by no means a BMW fanatic. To the opposite actually as I've had an unpleasant experiences with BMW North America. But that's said the BMW Z8 is probably the best all-around sports car in existence. It gives you the classic lines of a Jaguar E type but with modern safety features. It gives you the feel of an AC cobra but with refinement. It has an honest-to-goodness manual gearbox. Parts particularly mechanical parts are readily available. It has plenty of interior storage and a relatively large trunk. Compare it to a Mercedes SLS (large car/automatic only) or and Audi R8 Roadster (no trunk space) or Austin Martin Vantage or Vanquish (tiny trunk Vantage, neither car has glove box! neither car built as well as Z8) and you see just how good an all-around package it is compared to these cars. You could compare it to a 911 but 911's are as common as telephone poles. Here is a car with classic 1960s styling yet modern convenience and safety. There really is no better all around sports car (power, functionality, exterior lines, interior style, parts mechanical parts availability) than the Z8.

Car sold yesterday, so we removed the listing.

The lady I was selling this car for turned out to be completely untrustworthy, despite the fact that I inspected her car twice, and shepherded her through ever step of the process for over three years she refused to pay my costs, and I am now having to take her to small claims court.
