    BBS Forged Individual

made by BBS's motorsport division. Finished on a five axis mill. Currently a 4 month waiting list. These are also the stock wheels on the Ferrari 599GTO

    19x8.75 ET22 front
    19x10.25 ET22 rear

    19.75kgs (43.5lbs) with 255/19/40 Michelin PS2s front
    21.75kgs (47.8lbs) with 285/19/35 rear
...definitely the lightweight champs for aluminum wheels

can't wait for the Brembo brake kit to arrive. The stock brakes look so small with these wheels.

I did weigh them before mounting the tires, but forgot to write the numbers down. From other posts on the web it's: 17lbs (7.7kgs) front, 19lbs (8.6kgs) rear.

Congrats! Those look great. The Brake kit will enhance it even more. Post more pics once the brakes are on !!

What is the front and rear offsets? Did they require hubcentric spacers?
    Best Regards,

those are BMW emblems on the center caps. The BMW center cap won't fit the BBS wheels, but you can pry off the BBS emblem from the BBS center cap and glue on the BMW emblem from the BMW center cap fairly easily.

Or do you mean the license plate mounts in front and back. I suppose they do look like Chevy emblems. In switzerland you can save some money on insurance if you swap a single set of plates between cars. The Chevy emblems are the bits that hold the plates.

    ET 22 front and back.

I have a 7mm spacer on the front that's left over from the Dinan wheels, which required them. For normal tires you wouldn't need a spacer, but the Michelin PS2s have rubber "lips" that extend over the wheels to protect them from curb rash. You need a spacer to clear those lips. Why Michelin would put lips on the insides of the tires too I have no idea.

    No spacers on the rears.

When I ordered my HREs, they had to mill the hubs to fit the BMW center caps... still a tight fit, Dana had to shave the inside just a bit more to get them to fit, but I really didn't want aftermarket logos in the center. Funny, most people want to show off the HRE logo, not me. Now I understand why AMG has always molded their logo into the spokes, so the mercedes logo can still be in the center cap.

Just testing clearance...yes it's on the wrong side!

Front brake kit is 2.9kgs lighter than stock per side
Back brake kit is 0.4kgs lighter than stock per side

The stock front caliper is a boat anchor.

In total with the wheels, that's roughly 12 kgs saved per side in the front and 8kgs per side in the rear...40kgs of unsprung weight.

The brakes really fill up the wheels nicely, bravo. I didn't realize that Dinan sold a rebadged the Brembo kit.

You can get the standard Z8 brake kits with Dinan by Brembo logos, you just have to buy them from Dinan. Dinan charge the going rate for the Brembos, so if you have everything else Dinan, it's a nice touch.

I special ordered a 6 piston kit for the front because they are lighter, plus I just liked the look better...they match the monoblock rear calipers. Brembo charges a significant amount extra for this so you'd better really want it/be a little crazy.

Hey, my wheels aren't the top of the line anymore! They are now making these wheels out of a 7000 series aluminum alloy and calling them RI-D

    http://bbs-individual.com/index.php?id=ri-d

7000 series aluminum is heat treatable and after treatment the 7068 version can approach the strength of steel. Don't know which of the 7000 series is being used. However, the heat treatment is pretty time consuming, so these will probably be produced in small numbers.

Esthetically, they are the same no? Are the new ones lighter as well as stronger?

I believe these are stronger and a drop lighter. The look remains the same as far as I can tell.

I sure love the design. They are made to order, correct?

    Anyone know U.S. pricing?
