    Solo drive

A great and rare Iowa February day to take the Z8 for an late afternoon/evening drive. 70 degrees, iPod blasting and V8 making its own music. Hopefully today was a sign of an early spring to come.

Good for you, Skip! Crazy weather patterns, only got up to 68 here in south Florida.

    Andrew,
Do you expect to ever make those runs again?

Ted, I hope so, but I'm not really sure how just now. I chose a career that has sadly fallen victim of the wave of digital democratization. My business is currently turning over round 20% of what it was 10 years ago, as today everyone is a photographer. My speciality has quite literally become worthless, so the days of being able to afford gloriously glamorous sports cars are behind me until I can figure out a new career path.

Andrew, I have to say I am pretty ignorant about photography, but I have to believe that there will always be an important place for those few people like yourself who can take the elements available to create particularly special works of art.
In any case, it will be great to see you in Monterey.
