Those rims are interesting. I saw these for sale at Peter Pan BMW, which I like for my car, also black/red, but they only come in 20 inch.

And they are the right offsets etc? Looks close to the Z8 design.

Ohh, maybe in silver they might look good on my car, do we know the weight, make and off sets?

I think they may be standard Z8 wheels with a rather ugly cosmetic treatment.

The "snow" rims appear to be stock, with graphics. The ones ED posted are 20s.

    Which wheels for the Z8?

I am not convinced 20s would be an improvement, Alpina notwithstanding. If we ever wear out the Michelinos on the (bent) original eighteens, I believe I will try Type 89 wheels (these), the nineteens from the Sieben. Their looks are reminiscent of the Alpina wheels without being ultra-modern aggresso.

As for the "snow" wheels and tires... well, different strokes, and all that! I can see myself on studded Hakkapeliittas running up the frozen Mackenzie River, top down and sideways. I will need my muskrat hat with the flaps turned down.

Of course, while Party B is still alive, the only ice that car will ever see is if I spill a pina colada during a garage tour.

Satch, the 20s work well with the euro suspension, but the 19s might be the best of all worlds. As for ice... One large rock in my boulevardier please!

You know, if your freezer goes down to -40, you can make rye ice cubes!

I gotta try that some time! How cold is liquid nitrogen? Ha!

Yes, apparently 100-proof spirits (like, oh, I don't know, vodka) will freeze at minus forty, Fahrenheit or centigrade. The reason this trivia sticks in my mind is that -40 is the same on both scales!

Liquid nitrogen is usually somewhere between -345F and -320F. That should do it!
