Something beautiful for the watch enthusiasts...

This one of ten limited edition chronographs looks just about perfect to me, but at $44,000 there's no way I'll be buying it, this year at least!

I remember seeing a Lange Datagraph in rose gold in the store a few years ago- it was retailing for like $60k. It was gorgeous.

Gorgeous indeed -- and the amazing Lange movement.

LOL. So true. But I'm guilty as charged. I still wear a watch. I have lost much of my passion for them though.

I'm curious to see what happens with the iWatch.

I never wear a watch, but I love looking at the beautiful craftsmanship that goes into them.

I still wear and enjoy the beauty of the watches I own. I use my i-phone only to set the correct time on the watch I'm wearing at the time.

I confess to still wearing a watch daily but fear it is the modern day equivalent of a pocket watch. None of the "kids" at work wear a watch. Getting old is no fun.

Me too, I wear my glasutte everyday, and use it to tell time! The "kids" at my office wear watches the size of orange slices! Not for telling time, I suspect.

I think wearing and relying on a watch is almost becoming a nostalgic habit that I would regret doing without. It seems we are forever starring down at the tiny florescent screens for our lifeline that the simplicity of a beautifully crafted wristwatch that doesn't upgrade every 18 months is very special.

I think mid line wristwatches will go the way of the cheap digital cameras. Everyone will have some kind of "iWatch" type device. There will always be a market for the really high end watches as they are more like artwork. I do not think watches will disappear, rather they will become a part of the various electronica we wear.
