    Z8 and Friends

Our newest Z8 joins garage friends in sunny SoCal, after a few days of rain and cold weather. Great day to warm up everyone's oil :-)

Great shot Stu! After the rain up here in the Bay Area, I found myself yesterday driving the Z8 in the crisp 43 degree night air warming up the oil.

Marty, I stuck the Raptor in there just in case you caught this pix. Gotta' offset all those little guys with some big, old school American iron.

    Raptor

Hey Marty, I see now who stole my US flag decals!

I didn't get Raptor detailed today, but did get her a new windshield just now. The guys just left. All Star Glass did the job. Quick, professional and very reasonable price vs many of the others. Got their AAA/USAA discount.

The original had a cross-country trip crack in it and I finally got tired of looking at it. That means a rock is bound to fly up and hit me again very soon. It just can't happen to a windshield that already has a crack or chip in it. I even carry a self fix-it bull's eye repair kit in the truck with me, but if you don't get on them immediately, they run and you're screwed.

Cars (and trucks) can't live with 'em and can't live without 'em. Don't we know it!

Happy holidays to all and a safe and hopefully better New Year.

You can only drive one at a time.

Ain't that the truth! I had a windshield replaced on the ALPINA and caught a large rock chip with less than 500 miles on the new one. Grumble, grumble, grumble!! That's one of the pitfalls for living in the PHX area.
