Yes - absolutely! I just reached the 50K miles mark on my 2000 Silver Z8 - on to the next 50K :-)

I was about to ask the same thing. Good to hear that you're keeping one of the two.

Surprising. Even with the weaker Euro I thought this would have been snapped up by an overseas buyer.

The car is gorgeous and I am sure it is in fine condition; I suspect its the mileage/price ratio thats causing this car to take longer to sell. And yes I realize we're talking about a ~10 year car with only 28k miles. It seems absurd but if this car had 6500 miles I think it would hit that price no problem. I think its just a different buyer for the 6500 mile car (collector) vs 28k mile car (collectors won't want that mileage). JMHO. Not passing judgement on the car itself and I think its a fair price given some examples went for far higher just a few weeks ago.

For Europe this is a normal price for a car with that mileage.

Yes but Europeans have a different mindset on these matters.

But maybe that explains the European mindset

...just came back from Europe, stepped into my garage, looked at the Alpina Z8 and it hit me - why would I ever want to sell this car? It is just plain gorgeous and really really hard to replace. So I will continue to be the happy owner of this unique car
