    Just installed Reinforcement-Bracket

I just installed the Reinforcement-Bracket sent to us by our Z8 club. I do have the Z8 on a lift in my garage which made it easy to work. Initially I had some difficulty and after looking and debating with myself what the problem was I ended up trimming off about 1/16th of an inch or 2.54cm of each end, only on top side (the side with the sharp corners) after this minor trim it then went right on without problem. Instructions are excellent even for this old guy.

Yours may not require the minor trim. You will be able to tell quickly.

Does this thread relate to a bracket that the Z8 club made for the rear valance?

I was talking to another owner and he was telling me about it. Can it be bought or does anyone know where I can get one or even a picture of one?

    Thanks,

    Nick

Thank you for that. I now understand what I'm looking for which is a start.

If anyone has a spare let me know.

There may be some available, but only to Z8 Club members. The poster is (I believe) the current contact for the Club.

    Thanks again.

I actually don't belong to the club, so thats a non runner.

In the UK there are so few cars that unless you live near to the South Coast and can easily cross to the continent and join in with the other European members there is just nothing going on. So a bit pointless except for bits like this.

If anyones got a spare though I'll gladly buy it from them.... He said hopefully!

They are not available anymore: after the re-opening of the web shop the few left were sold.

    Ok. Thanks for that.

I'll have to try and get someone to fabricate something up for me.
