Anyone know a really good soft top repair shop?

I had a number of a guy here in LA, but lost it somewhere along the way, and now we are getting back towards drive time I need to get mine repaired. The fabric around the rear window is now so badly unglued it is practically out all the way round now!

    Anyone got any suggestions?

Andrew, I have a guy in La Habra that's quite good, but that's a big drive for you. If you don't get anyone closer to you, let me know and I'll send you the info (it's somewhere in my paperwork). Also, did you try Marty (Hayvenhurstkid)? He's gotta know someone, but I don't think he frequents here anymore.

I will be in the market for another Z8 soon. I want either silver with a black or red interior or if I really had my wish, black with a red interior. This tme I want a car with a few more miles under its belt, say 15,000 to 20,000, so I don't have to watch the miles as I enjoy the car. I bought a Corvette Z06 as a tide me over, but already sold it. I am using my Porsche turbo more, so I ended up paying off my mortgage in full, something I have wanted to do for a long time! We had a mortgage burning party and I must say, it was very very enjoyable. So, keep your eyes open and let me know if something comes up. I am in a position to buy a car immediately, but am happy to take my time until the right car comes along.

Look forward to seeing you back in the fold.

I know exactly what you mean. I keep thinking of doing the same thing; selling my car and buying a higher mileage "beater." I agonize about the miles every time I take my car out. Worst yet, I agonize about getting hit just enough that it's not "totalled," but its value destroyed. It absolutely takes all the fun out of driving an exceptionally fun car.

Scott, post it in the For Sale section with some nice pix, and all the details, does it have the book etc, and you should get a sale as it is spring, always a good time to sell convertibles!

Will do in the next week. If it sells, I think that I will invest in a MK120 or 140.

Does any of you have experience with this vendor?
    The price seems compelling.
Would love to have you thoughts.
