Where are the Z8s around the world?

Has anyone come across a breakdown list, as to where Z8s were exported/purchased?
...other than GERMANY/UK/US - How many in Italy, Spain, Brazil, etc?

I don't think such a list exists anywhere, but I know there are a few in each of these countries - Japan, China, Russia, Saudi, Dubai, Lebanon, Turkey, Mexico, Brazil.

The two biggest single markets are of course USA & Germany. I think Switzerland is third, then Canada and the other EU countries with the UK having the least because it was only ever a LHD car. I don't think there are any in Australia or New Zealand, though one was taken there as a show car, maybe for the Bond movie, and it later completed in of their big cross country events.

    Around the world!

I also know of at least ONE in Greece (I've seen it in Athens), and a few in France.
Too bad not all Z8 owners are part of this club, or register somewhere online so we could track them (and view beautiful pictures on amazing locations)
Speaking of that: I'm a Cinematographer based in LA, and was recently asked to shot a Fuji Film Stock promo. I took my silver/black Z8, 4 female models, a precision driver, a Titan Crane, onto "El Mirage" dry lake-bed (Mojave Desert) and filmed a 6 min piece about a Speed-Racer (all on 35 & 16mm) motion Picture film. Were still completing post, but I will post it as soon as it is available. It will also be 35mm projected around the world (as well as LA, of corse) - I'll keep ya'll posted!

That sounds great, hope we can add it to our movies section here too! I love El Mirage, shot there a lot over the years, but I'd never take any car of mine out there, it's really the temple of dust!

    Micro Dust Hell!

It was a nightmare, but I figured worth it, to have these images of my car captured on 35mm.
I did take it to Shelly Ward Enterprises www.shellywardent.com(Car Prep Guys) for the clean up!
It took 10hrs, but FUJI payed for it!

About 90 Z8's were sold over here in the Netherlands (source: BMW NL). According to our department of transportation about 70 are still licensed (and driving...?) in our small country.

16 million people. That's 396 people per square km. Here in Canada we have 3.2 people per square km. That might be one reason why my family emigrated back in '55. I think we have fewer Z8s than you do, maybe 50 or so, I'm not sure.

Sounds just like LA, except that would be 17.5 million cars!

And 17 million of those are heaps held together with duct tape and driven by people who should not be allowed to walk let alone drive.

    Like a true Z8 enthusiast!

The pictures you post only show the 4 female models at a distance, so as to keep up the image (for the spouses that may visit this site from time to time) that this all is truly all about the Z8!
    Best Regards,

About 79 z8's have been spotted in Belgium (source: autogespot.nl + all the pictures I found on the Internet), each with different plate numbers of course. Here's the detail :
50 silver (of which 1 US import and 1 Alpina)
16 black (of which 1 US import and 3 Alpina)
    11 stratus
    1 red
    1 topaz

There are about 10 million people in Belgium.

    31 cars in Sweden

A while back I received a list of Z8 owners in Sweden, where I live.
31 cars and only 9 of those in our capital, Stockholm.
Stockholm is often referred to as the capital with "highest density" of Porsches in the world.
