Great news for LA area drivers!

The wonderful Angeles Crest Highway is finally reopened all the way to Wrightwood, this is a run we must do again this summer, there are a few great spots up there for lunch, and the drive is simply divine!

That's exactly what I was thinking. I'll join Andrew, but I'll be driving the M3.

I'll got up there and do a rock check, but they sweep the road constantly so what you're seeing is an as yet unopened road in those shots!

    Recent earthquake activity...

Wonder if that's bringing any more rocks down on the road. Working here by LAX, we just shook again a few minutes ago...makes that hard top storage solution ever more important.

Thats for sure! I've found a stand for my blue car's top, it's going to get lashed to the wall joists as if we were at sea heading into a hurricane. The silver one will remain in the air, but I'm adding two additional safety chains to it just to be safe!

Certainly gets your attention this ground moving business!

By the way, and totally off topic, saw my first new Camero tonight, GM really got it right visually, it is by far the best looking of this latest retro-inspired batch of Pony cars.

    Camero sighting.

Saw one Friday pulling into work...not that impressed. I like the Challenger with the works...stripes, big tires and all. It's just a bigger version of a Hot Wheels car.

I like the Challenger too, but the stubbiness and compactness of the Camero looked really crisp, the one I saw was all black with tinted windows, to my eyes it looked perfect in that color combo.
