I must say the red with the hard top looks awesome. I'm so tempted to leave the hard top on. According to Gregg, the manual states a way to remove the soft top apparatus so that to keep the hard top in place for extended period of times. Something to check out.

Have fun removing the soft top. I wouldn't want that job!

Seriously, she's a beauty. Have fun driving the other!

That isn't a bad idea, I still haven't taken the hard top off my Blue car - I'm out of storage space!

San Diego to Irvine. About 75 miles, mostly on the 5 free way.

Why did you truck it? Isn't that only a hour drive?

    Tony,
I think you need to change your screen name to something like redz8's or 2redz8

I do not want to drive the car until all the fluids have been replaced. Same goes for the performance package. But perhaps the main reason was to keep the miles of the car. That drive would have doubled the total miles on the car! I'm really planning to drive the least number of miles necessary to keep the car healthy.

Good suggestion, but I've already gone through one identity change (used to have a black z8, hence my old screen name blkz8), so I'll stick with redz8

Beautiful car Tony, congratulations. Perhaps we should all have a hard top day, I too love the look of it when it's on. Happy Holidays.

Congratulations, I may have room in my garage and certainly would give it tender care.

Beautiful. We leave the hard top on. We use the Dinan M-Roadster for fresh air.
