Nice! Nothing like getting quality seat time![]()
This was my second dedicated track car, and the one I did the most track days in. I bought it in Jan 04, and sold it in June 05 having clocked up an incredible 42 track days - I was really into it back then!
The car was a blast to drive, and it never missed a beat in the 18,000 miles I did in it. It use a set of tires every four track days, a set of pads every eight, and a set of discs about every 16. It did about 8mpg on full song.
I got full services every two thousand miles by a very track friend mechanic at the dealer, but despite its very hard life it had not a single warranty claim, nor missed a beat. I sold it when my entire track day posse switched to Lotus's, which were barely any slower in terms of lap times, but they were much more fun to drive, and literally cost half to run.

Ahhh, how sweet was that? I only had about 10 track days before I gave up my GT3. I have done about 20 in the cayman S so far... No end in sight!
