In April of this year I purchased a 6000 mile 2002 silver/black Z8 for 243K. The car is flawless and came with all of the important accessories i.e. Coffee Table Book, Window Sticker, etc. Yesterday on BaT a 5600 mile 2000 Silver/Black example sold for 206K (with buyer’s premium). That is obviously a 37K difference. I attribute much of this difference to the obvious changes in many markets these days. What I did discover however is that 60 Z8s and Alpinas have been presented on BaT since the beginning of the year. While the Z8 is a relatively rare vehicle with only 5703 produced over a four year period (approximately 2300 imported to North America), IMO their numbers on BaT have tended to dilute their exclusivity and beauty. Obviously supply and demand are at play as well.
