Truly a timeless design -

Had an opportunity to swap cars with fellow Porsche Club member and drive his fantastic 2022 Porsche 718 Spyder. I have a 2015 Targa 4S that I left home today so he could experience the Z8, which he truly enjoyed, especially the V8 rumble and the torque of the S62. The Spyder is one fantastic piece of automotive engineering. The 4L 414 HP Flat 6 is phenomenal and with 3,200 pound weight provides plenty of acceleration and speed. The GT3 derived chassis and suspension is amazing. Took this photo after the drive and looking at it it is just amazing how fantastic the 20+ year old design of the Z8 is. Both cars look like they could be 2022 models…

Interestingly the two cars are very similar in length and width. In 10 years however the Boxster will simply be another older Porsche while the Z8 will continue to shine.

They are Bremmer Kraft BR03 ADC. I bought them from TireRack in 2010.
