    New Brake System for Z8

Sometime next week, you might want to look at my Instagram, @robertlinton1, to see the first screen shot of the new brakes for the Z8. Pretty wild and, of course, very lightweight.

Just saw the prototype...fantastic! Those are the fronts? Will you be using carbon ceramic rotors too?

If you put those beauties on the stock steel rear uprights I'm coming to your garage to give you a stern talking to. Swapping the aluminum uprights from an M5 is fairly straightforward (swingarms too):

But I'd really like to see what you could come up with from scratch. And while you're at it might as well do the fronts too with ventilated motorsport bearings and Porsche centerlock. Count me in for a set if you do!!!

Oh, and shift the swingarm attachment points down by 20mm to lower the car without messing with the suspension geometry.

You might look at some of the pictures of my car's underside elsewhere on the Board.

You are looking at the first model for the new structurally optimized aluminum lithium front calipers for my Alpina Z8.

Oh I know that. It's just that it's unlike any brake caliper I have ever seen. You make very cool things. I enjoy your watch commentary as well, Robert. Happy New Year.
