BMW Z8 20 Year Anniversary Art Prints

I came across this on Instagram. I states that they will be given away in some sort of contest for BMW.UK. I would love to buy all of them. Does anyone have any idea how to go about it? Find the artist(s)? Group buy?

They do look fantastic! Not sure if one can buy them, but I would be interested as well. Maybe a UK board member (I believe there are some or are there?) could find out.

I was able to find one of the artists. He said the copyright is held by BMW UK & is unable to sell them at this time. He will contact me if the situation changes

It was a BMW UK give away, not available for purchase. I guess the price would be whatever you would be willing to pay. Let us know who the artists are, maybe the rest of us can reach out for a group purchase.If your not interested, can you pm me the contact for purchase?

I had them reprinted, in metal, at one of those graphic places. I hung them in my garage by my z8.

They are super nice graphics, if anyone gets a set I can photograph them here with my 100mp Fuji GFX which would allow us to make full sized prints.

I was on a UK BMW forum and a saw a post from a guy who won a set in a give away. Apparently only 20 sets were produced for the 20th anniversary and all given away. This guys wife didn’t want them hung in the house so he just put them in storage. I just contacted him to see if he still had them and offered to buy them - viola and $900 latter including shipping I will have the full set. I’ve bought them sight unseen - so assuming they are in good condition - I would be willing to send them to Andrew if we could get min 5-10 people to offset the purchase, shipping, then production costs.

I would be interested, depends on final costs though. When you receive them, can you let us know who the artists are? Maybe we can get them to run a production set instead of a photo copy Andrew graciously offered to do.
One of the artists is Guy Allen https://guyallen.co.uk/ I emailed him when they came out & he replied that the BMW UK has the rights to his print. I have not contacted him since, maybe things have changed. Not sure about the others.

It was all different artists off Instagram that BMW commissioned.

To make 24x36 art prints costs around $110 each, and I'm happy to do the photography part for free so we have them recorded as high rez files.

If we can get 10 folks interested it'll drop the printing cost down to $80 each, or $320 the set + $90 to Devin - and say $25 shipping (in the US)

So with 10 folks we'd get a total of $435.00 a set.

I am not a copy right lawyer but..........I believe the law is........ you can copy them for personal use but not for profit or resale. So if we are doing a limited number and not selling them I do not believe it is an issue???????

Yes, its just personal use and its all done at cost, so no profit.
