Anyone with knowledge about this car?

I am looking to buy this car http://inventory.mgmsl.com/web/vehicle_photos/40037722/ and would appreciate if anyone has first hand knowledge of this car, it's past, or the dealership and is open to share here or privately.

    Cheers!

We have no record of that car in our database, except that I know Goldman has had it for quite a while. They have very much been market definers, and if the car passes inspection I'd even say its a plus to be able to say it was a Goldman car.

Live in Cleveland during the summer. When I was looking for a Z8 Alpina last spring went over and they had 5 or 6 Z8 in storage, Do not remember if that was one. Happy to take a look when I get back to Cleveland early May. My buying experience with Goldberg has not been good. They do not dicker on price and could care less if you buy a car or not. Nice people however. A very wealthy Cleveland family.

I purchased the car and it arrived yesterday. I am very pleased with the car as it is in showroom condition all around. The only items missing are The Book and the car cover, which I hope to locate soon. It'll now be a couple of months before I get a few things done to it (PP, belts, hoses, filters, fluids, Pilot Super Sports, full detail and full clear bra).Feels great to own one of these beauties again.

Yup, and I feel delightful as I did 12 years ago when I got my first Z8. Will be posting pics as soon as I sort out DMV and title issues.

    About that car cover...

Did you say you need a cover? The OEM indoor cover (soft and squishy—the Z8 condom) is this one from ECS Tuning:https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...r/82150018224/. Not sure of the part number of the outdoor cover, the one that's attached to its stowage bag. There are also covers available from California Car Covers and others (want a red one with BUFFY embroidered on the front?). Or you could buy the one with the Henrik Fisker graphics grafitti...https://www.bmwz8.us/forum/images/attach/jpg.gif

There are two other part numbers for OEM covers: 82110018027 and 82110025596. The first one is an outdoor cover in gray, so I suppose it might be the one attached to the bag; the second is an indoor cover in satin... but it's not the squishy-soft cover; that's #82150018224, and its ECS price is just over $400. The other two have the same price: $178.

Thanks Satch.I got 82150018224 already and the cover itself looks exactly like the one that was handed out by dealers to new buyers. But it comes in a duffle bag rather than the pillow case.Love the one with the z8 graphics. Nice!
